convert a 3/4 ton to a 1/2 ton,anybody done it?

Its a 2wd the rear end is a peice of cake .I was wondering if I can just change the spindles and brakes?

for rear you will nedd 1/2 ton panhard bar and frame mounting bracket, for front you need lower arms spindles rotors calipers hoses balljoints tie rods, etc etc, youd be best off to find a 71-87 1/2 ton parts truck and remove entire front cradle assembly and stick it under your truck
