You'll need a flip kit for more than 4" of rear drop. Quite honestly, a flip kit is easier to install than shackles + hangers.

1 coil off the front springs will be between 2-3" of drop. The amount will vary depending on the amount of spring sag & weight of your drivetrane.

Do you have any rubbing issues with your tires up front. What's the backspace on your front/rear wheels?
Since I put the stock rubber bumpstops in I don't have rubbing issues (w/exception to extreme bumps/dips). However, I don't have nearly the amount of travel on my 74 as I do my 68 that is set up similarly. I did relocate my shocks higher on the frame for more travel.

My wheels are 18x8 w/5.25BS (5"BS would be better) up front & 20x10 w/5"BS out back.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

First thing to do is to fill out your profile so we will know where you are located. There may be another board member local to you who can help so you don't have to pay for shipping.
