My 69 was in roughly that shape and I paid $1,750 US - how does that price compare in US $?

The 1969 Chevy usually has the Rockwell T221 - don't know about the GMC's.

All my info/observations indicate that 70 was the first year of an automatic in a 4x4. Also the xfer case should be a rockwell and the d44 FE should be closed knuckle. Are you sure its a 69 and/or unmolested?

I would check to make sure you find all of the rust in the cab before you buy it. Also, good passenger side fenders are not easy to find (at least in my area). Someone offered me a truck in that shape but with a bad tranny for $800 one time. (when I went back to talk to them they wernt interested in selling it anymore though. lol)

I looked at one in similar shape to that one and he said he would take $1400 for the truck without a gov't safety done on it. If he sold it saftied then it was gonna be an extra $1000. It needed a bit of work
