Thats kinda messed up, I don't know how the rear seat belts work, on mine its just a big belt going from one end to the other, like 2 people could fit in it.

Yea Gee, It Had One Attached To Each End And Then 3 Attached To
The Bolt Holes Seen In The Pictures, Still Has 1 Seat Belt In It, The Others Were Cut At The Edge Of The Seat Cover Where It Overlaps.

it will probily be hard to find just one, id just drill it out and tack weld a bolt on the back side, you`ll be cleaning, and painting them anyway..

Are rear benches that hard to find? I have passed up a few in junkyards, I just headed straight for the hold down clamps and grabbed them.

LUV - My '72 has only 2 of the brackets on the rear of the seat. GM didn't put the two center brackets on all the seats. The center seat belts bolt directly to the floor. I know this is stock because just about everything on my truck is stock, I have seen it on other trucks, and the rear seat I bought for my '69 from Kilomanjaro doesn't have holes to bolt on the two center brackets.
I would guess that your rear seat has been frankenstien'd at some point in time. The outside bracket may be from a suburban with shoulder belts or something - who knows. If you don't want to go to the trouble of searching for just one bracket, I would remove two and put the remaining two on the outside. Or swap the one with the hole to the inside positon and mount the seatbelt to the bolt hole that goes to the floor.

Hmmm, Well I Really Did Not Want To Use The End Bolts, Even
Though That Is How Stock Is, I Thought With 4 Matching Type Brackets I Could Just Have 3 Lap Belts And Nothing On Floor.

I understand. I think the suburbans used the same brackets in the 3rd row.

teamharvey, did you contact TONYP to see if he is still making them? I think he was asking around $30 a set. They don't look like the originals, but they function the same. I think he machines them out of solid aluminum.

LUV, contact Kilomanjaro. He may have a few extras laying around. I haven't seen much of him on the board in recent months, so hopefully he is still dealing with truck parts.

Suburban middle seat brackets are not the same as blazer ones. They kinda look the same, but blazer ones are short in the front, tall in the back, and suburban ones are tall in the front, short in the back. I have 2 extra sets of the back ones for the suburban seat, but I dont have a blazer, so no blazer seat brackets.

Blazer rear seat, and Suburban middle seat mounting brackets are a little different, but the Blazer rear and Suburban's 3rd row seat mounting brackets are the same.
They both use 2 or 4 tall mounts for support in the rear of the seat. And 2 short pipe type mounts for support in the front of the seat. |
