Athey's Dash Pad
Hey, installed the new Sandlewood dash pad I got from Bill today. Job wasn't that tough really, but I don't have A/C! Pulled the glove box, instrument cluster, headlight switch and there those little bugger speed nuts were! Snuck in with a nut driver and 1/4" ratchet and used nylocks and washers on the install instead of speed nuts. Scrubbed the dash up with soap and water prior to new pad going in and used the opportunity to tidy up some wiring.
Bill's dash pad looks GREAT and installed cleanly. Had to re-drill the holes in the front of the pad for the 4 screws, but no big deal. Ordered a new speaker for the ol' Motorola AM, new defroster tubes and a new glove box from Bill and, as before, he was helpful, friendly and had eveything in stock to ship tomorrow. Bill's a great guy to deal with. I recommend him highly. Hunter
