Power windows fuse
Does it take a small square silver 30 amp fuse? Is there anything else besides that fuse in the fusebox that also operates the power windows?
Problem is I cant get the windows to do anything at all, like its getting no power. I replaced the window fuse with the silver 30 amp fuse. It was 10.00 and no guaranty with the fuse (I knew that). I installed it and nothing happened. Bought a 30 dollar drivers side window switch panel, nothing happened. My power lock works but only to lock the passenger side door. I think its the switch, I can lock and unlock if I jump the contacts in the switch. Driver side needs a servo for lock, I bought one but haven't installed it yet. Driverside window motor or the regulator gear is stripped. I got a new power window motor and new regulator, not installed. The windows used to work but pretty slow as most do that old. Then the driverside messed up but when I used the switch you could hear the window motor working. So I just left it alone, now I dont get anything at all. Any ideas?
