OK super slammed/air bag guys-fenderwell ????s

I'm not sure if my suspension is settling or what, but I've developed a new problem. When I first lowered the truck, occasionally the top of the tire would hit the inner fender splash guard in the front when I hit a bump. It seemed worse on the passenger side. Now, it seems like it is getting worse. It hits on almost any little bump. I plan on bagging it soon, but I'm worried that the tire hitting the splash guards will eventually wrinkle up my new front fenders. When I switched the front sheetmetal almost a year ago, I almost eliminated the splash guards altogether because they were a little rusty. One of my friends helping me do the parts swap advised me not to because water and road debris would go right into the engine compartment. This truck is a driver and it sees all weather and driving conditions, so what he said made alot of sense. Anyway, I was just wondering if you guys with the air bagged trucks or super slammed trucks without airbags are running splash guards or not. Also, has anyone modified their guards to help keep the tires from hitting? How did you do it? Got pics? As always, thanks for any help.................................E

BTW, I'm running 225/75/15s. Thanks..................
