Billet Shifter and Turn Signal Lever?

When I redo my interior, I want to add a little bit of a custom touch to the steering column. I am going to put on a billet wheel of some sort and figured I might as well change the ugly old turn signal arm and shifter too. The truck is a 1972 and to my knowledge it has the stock colum. Are there any companies that make a nicer shifter for a 1972, or do they all just do 73 and up? Also, will any of those billet turn signal arms work, or are there differences in them too. How hard are these to items to install? Is the shifter as simple as remove and replace a roll pin? What about the turn signal arm? Thanks!
