Help! Anybody know how.....

How can I get the aluminum/woodgrain applique off of a Cheyenne glovebox door? I need to get the emblem and the aluminum plate off without screwing them up so I can put it on my good door. It's stuck like sh*t on a blanket... It appears to have some kind of glue on it but I don't know if thats all that holds it.
