Vince M Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2000 Location: Orlando, FL Posts: 1,076	Front upper shock mounts..threaded or not I'm putting the front upper shock mounts on my 68 and I have two kinds...one that is threaded on the end and captures the shock with a nut and the other kind has nothing ..I suppose the shock just slips over it and stays in place. Am I missing something here. Is one style better than the other? Any sources for new ones? I've looked through the catalogs I have and I don't see any. __________________ ............................................................ 68 Chevy CST SWB w/LS1, carb & 700r4. Golden Anniversary clone with a few improvements.
