2.25" Duals

Happy Friday,
It's garage time!!! woohoo.
Righto so kicked over the truck today and just about lost my ears drums. Interior resonance was a killer. Turns out there is now a lovely hole in one of my pipes near the rear wheel (usual place I guess).
So am needing to change the exhaust. It has 3" duals on it with resonator tips only running from a set of hedman headers. I'm sure it was great for the PO with the Big block & blower in it but its a bit loud n am sure way too big bore.
However PO put a 78 vette pace car engine in it. I contacted dynomax they reckon a 2.25" dual system will be fine for my requirements now.

Are any of you guys running a dual 2.25" system?
Also will a 73 system fit,as I seem to many of these ready to fit header back kits for 73 onwards but nothing for our trucks.... Any feedback appreciated..........
