Ok guys here's my problem. I've got a 1995 chevrolet 4.3L Vortec engine in a 1985 s-10 blazer 4x4. It's all rigged up and was all good. The intake gasket (lower one) had a leak so there was fluid leakage. I pulled both intakes (CPI model so it has 2) and replaced the gaskets and all that. got it all stitched up and plugged in the wires/sensors etc.
My issue is i cant get the lil SOB to fire up. I found TDC by checking to feel air comin from #1 cyl. then i put a screwdriver in there to find when the piston hit top and back down. Lined up the timing mark on the balancer, looked at where the rotor was setup adn put the cap back on. Put the plug wire for #1 on where the rotor was pointing and cranked, no luck, it cranks but doesnt seem to be firing. Ohh i disconnected that wire for the computer (tan with black stripe) and all that jazz. I I know this is off topic guys but i'm goin nutz here and i cant get the bloomin thing to fire up at all and i've been futzing with the advance etc. but no go whatsoever. Please any and all help would be SO great, i appreciate anything in advance because if i cant get this thing running i gotta have it towed to someone and then of course payin out the ying yang.
