Thumbs up Score - Ebay parts for my beater & question

Just scored a set of rustfree cali dual tank stepside fenders for my 84. I was the only bidder - can't beat that.

Looks like I might also have a line on a rust free 86 A/C cab in a few weeks.

Guess I can start building my Jonny Cash 73, 77, 79, 84, 86 stepper in a few weeks.

I'm trying to decide if I should title it as a 77, 84, or 86 when I start building it. Does anyone know when cats were first put on 1/2 tons? I understand the legal implications, but I have titles and vins for all of these years and Indiana doesn't seem to look very closely at old vehicles.
