Tach

I want to put a tach in my Burb. I had a Sun tach recently, it didn't work correctly, and I yanked it out. Anyways, I know I can mount one on the column, but how hard is it to mount a 3 3/8" tach or mini tach in place where the tach should go on the panel?? I haven't pulled my panel out, so I don't know what is behind there. Working 6 days a week at 10-13 hors per day and taking care of 5 kids off and on by myself doesn't leave much time. Just thought I would let you guys know why I don't have as much time as I would like, but none probably ever does.
