There is no way that's more than $3,000 in body work. In fact, I would be hard pressed to say it's more than $2,000. I can't see it in its entirety, but it looks like only the rear quarter is damaged. If it can't be pulled back out again, the shop will probably replace it with another piece.
I think you're still in the clear.
