will a 65 dash fit in a 71? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

hey all,
well this is a strange question but i'm curious. i like the looks of the 65 dash better than my 71 but i don't have a mid 60's truck to take measuments off of. long story short will the older style dash fit my 71 without 1000 of hours of mods or am i opening up a can of worms?
