Braided heater hose

OK, OK.... I know braided lines are unnecessary and expensive as hell, but I really like the way they dress up the engine compartment. My fuel lines and tranny cooling lines are stainless, now I want to tackle the heater hoses. I believe one is 5/8 and the other is 3/4. I can find NPT to AN adaptors for the water pump and manifold, the part I am having problems with is where it enters the heater core at the cab. The heater core has just a standard hose barbs on it. I would rather not use one of those cheesy dress up kits with the standard hose clamp having a fake anodized fitting over the top of it. Do they make a heater core with An fittings on it? Anyone have any ideas?
