This can't be good-broken shock stud.

I was checking out my shocks today. They are shot, and I got new ones. The right rear bottom is held on with what appears to be a 3/8ths bolt. So my question is, I have 2 front top studs-are they the same?
It's likely that the hole the stud goes through is all wobbled out, if it is should I weld the new stud in?
