Question $250 for an original 307 w/ 2bbl carb, good deal?

I've been looking for an engine to put in my truck so I can pull and clean up the 350 that's in my truck right now. Well there was this '70 c10 without a bed sitting out at the local j-yard. I went and checked it out and the truck is complete, except for the stepside bed. Has a three on the tree, just a plain jane truck. The engine that's in it is the original 307 w/ 2bbl carb, it even has both ramhorn manifolds that turn back. So I asked how much he wanted for the whole engine with carb, manifolds, alternator, etc and he says 250 bucks. I was told it runs great. He's supposed to have it pulled on Monday. Is this a good deal for this engine?
