Question New Spindle Install??

I put a pair of 'factory new' Spicer spindles on my Dana 44 front axle last night and was wondering if maybe they are not the right ones for the knuckles? I had to use the 'persuasion method' with a brass hammer to remove the old spindles, everything was rusted really bad. I then had the knuckles sand blasted and painted with Rustoleum black. I bought the new spindles over the internet and checked all of the critical bearing areas with a micrometer.

These new spindles bolted right into the knuckle without any forcing. I thought they were supposed to be a really tight 'press fit' into the knuckle??

Has anybody replaced their spindles with new, non-rusted ones and experienced the same thing? I know the entire wheel assembly rides on that little spindle and want to make sure that I have installed the correct part safely.

Thanks for your input,
