Rubber window and Door Seals

This has probaly been asked before, but is there a huge difference between buying rubber products from the different vendors? I would rather purchase from one of the supporters of the site. The window seals/scrapers, and door seals I bought no more than 3 years ago at a car show in either Myrtle Beach or Maggie Valley are already warping/breaking apart. Door seals are falling apart as well. I paid about the same as what everyone else advertises. Did I just get ripped off with cheap parts, or is there a particular company to stay away from?
