Removing stain (Sap?) from paint
My truck is covered with what looks like sap. There are small brown stains with a small black speck in the middle. I have tried several things to remove them:
Clay bar Bug Tar remover (kero) Meguires paint scrub Dawn detergent I have been out of town for a while, and there really aint any trees directly over it? What ever it is it has been baking in 90+ degree weather for several days The stain can be scrubed of, but the small black spec in the middle takes several minutes to scrub. Would Prep-Sol do any good? I have read news group articles listing everything from Rubbing alchaol to Coke!
