4-speed to th350 conversion.
I am sure this has been covered so, sorry to post an already beaten to death subject... but the forum search is not working.
I had thought about installing a 700r4 in my truck but I think I am just going to build up a th350 instead. I guess I will need a Th350 with all of it's linkage, flexplate ect. and a np 205 with the factory adapter. My question is, is this just a straight bolt in, without moving the transfer case Xmember or modifing drivelines? And secondly can anyone tell me a certain donor year range that will work best as the 69-72 4x4's are in pretty short supply around here. Thanks for your help on what I am sure is already a heavily hashed over subject.
