? for those with BB, headers & SM465

Hey guys...

? for everybody running a big block with headers & an SM465. I've got a set of Hedman long headers on my 496 (bolted in almost perfectly). I left the 496 in the stock location (dimpled the firewall for clearance) and was cruising along bolting everything in...until I got to the clutch linkage. The main pipe runs directly in front of the hole for the pivot on the motor side. I don't think that I could bend the header far enough to even get a pivot to screw in...let alone to get enough clearance for motor rock etc. Anyway, I was curious to see what everybody else has done to solve similar problems. I'm probably going to go with a hydraulic clutch set up, but if somebody has a creative idea...I'd love to hear it.

Thanks in advance!
