Post Where Does Your Temp Gauge Read?

Mine reads a bit less than straight up and down on a hot 90deg day with the a/c on. The dipstick is too hot to hold onto when I check the oil. Is this normal?

On a mild temp day 80deg, it sits a tad above the hashed area on the left.

replys?
