Looked at "Fixer-Upper" last night...

Well, its not pretty. But its pretty tempting. Its a 71 fleetside shortbed (at least I think its a shortbed) with a 350 and automatic transmission. Has rust in all the normal places. The dash and doors have been cut . But it runs, although it sounds rough and needs a little engine TLC. I was hoping some of you guys could help me out with some questions...

- How would you repair that dent in the corner of the cab by the rear window?
- This is a shortbed, right? Stupid me didnt measure it.
- Is the steering colomn original and is just missing the display stuff? Or is this a hack from another car?
- Im used to stepsides... Is the bed supposed to separate that much from the cab?
- What is it worth?
