Deaver Front Springs For Solid Axle Chevy

hi, my truck is an 87 gmc 3/4 ton, i have a 6" superlift suspension with dual shocks upfront. right now it rides horrible. has anyone every put Deaver leaf springs on there 4x4? Deaver Inc. states that i will notice a HUGE! difference in ride quality. The springs cost over $700. is it that nice of ride or do i still have to go really slow down bumpy roads? thanks.
