Cool Air Intake set up suggestions?
Hey and Good day!!!
Has anyone found a clean and easy way to get cool air intake set up on their chevys. I would love to put some kind of a "hat" on top of my throttle body so that I could then plumb a 4" air duct hose to some spot on the truck to get cool air to the intake.. I have thought about a couple of different ways to do it. Possibly cut the wheel well out in a select location and build or install some sort of a box/intake port, so as to bring air in from the area above the tire in the wheel well on the driver side. Put some kind of a baffle so that water and mud and dirt would not get flung in to the intake port of the set up.. Any advice, hints on how you may have done this, or have seen it done, would be greatly appreciated.. I had thought about just a ram air tube through the front panel to the side of the headlight. Cut that out and put a ram air tube to there.. any thoughts.. Thanks.. string
