lowering a 4x4???

I asked questions in the 4x4 section but maybe suspension would be better...

I have an '88 S10 Blazer 4x4. It has stock 15" wheels. I'm buying American Racing wheels that are 15" so the size isn't changing. ANYWAYS...my blazer has torsion bars in the front and leaf springs in the back. I have somewhat of an idea how to lower the front but i'm still not positive. what about the back???? i want a 3/4 drop or a 2/3. It's stock height(it doesn't have a lift kit). I've heard stories of impossibility when lowering a 4x4. is this true.

help me please
