69GMCSWB Registered User Join Date: Aug 2002 Posts: 1	Newbie with questions I got a 1969 GMC 1500 Shortbed.It has a 307 and a 3 on the tree. It is all original and I want to restore, here are my questions: 1. Should I stick with my original engine and tranny? 2. My bed is very rusty, would i need to replace it? 3. Is the truck worth restoring? 4. How much would it cost to make it one bad GMC? __________________ 1969 GMC 1500 SWB 307/3 speed Very rusty and want to restore.
