Well, I've scavenged thousands of miles over 3 states (mainly backroads) searching for old trucks to buy. I just found this one less than 3 miles from my house thats been sitting for years!! 1971 1 ton with camper - 402 BB, 400 auto, ps, pb, a/c, buckets, and cruise with 87,000 miles. The guy says the cruise came from the factory, but I'm not sure. I've got a GM unit and noticed several differences. However, it does have the correct "cruise" button on the end of the blinker lever. Anyway, though I'd share the pictures and get your thoughts.
