I just did the swap, and carefully moved my master cylinder forward and a new booster with brackets to the firewall. Brakes work AWESOME now, although very sensitive. I was wrapping up everything thinking how little time that took, when I noticed my new booster sits right smack over my oil dipstick so I can't get it out!
This is a 3/4 ton truck so the booster is a little bigger than other trucks. When I assembled this crate engine I put the original dipstick from the 1970 engine back where it was originally located. I didn't even think about this during the whole I install of the power brakes.
Is my only option to move the dipstick to the passenger side?
