Engine numbers
Ok, my turn, I eiother need the link, or need some one to look this one up, it doesn't sound right to me.
This is the 350 in the GMC, I know it is a later engine, (5.7 is cast on the bellhousing) but these numbers sound odd. It has 2 codes on the machined pad. The top one says 70726FRS Then, under that, in smaller and not as deep, it says CF8796728 Any help would be apreciated. ------------------ '69 G.M.C. 350/350. Trying to clean up the left over damage from the Dope-Smokin-Old-Man I've been dubbed the Longhorn Freak/Fanatic/Expert, I just hope I can live up to it.
