Just a question about rarity of this truck?

My dad bought a 1968 CST 1/2 ton pickup that is sitting on a 3/4 ton frame. The guy that sold it to him said it might be a rarity. We don't have any idea. It's not in too bad of shape and it runs good. The motor is not original. I believe it is a crate motor he bought from Jasper. So does anyone know how many 68 CST's were built like this? Were they all built on a 3/4 ton frame?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
