Front Shaft
My slip joint front shaft is shot. Driveline shop says its the wrong length. I measured it at 26-27 inches from center of front uni bearing to back of flange. Which looks appropriate installed - about 1/2 to 3/4 inch of showing slip wear. That seems right. I'm trying to replace it, they want too much for their rebuilt one and wont repair mine - after saying they would for $50.
Would any of you know what the correct length for this should be? This is on my stock 1980 K10 long bed, 350 engine SM465/NP205 Trans & Case. Any help would be appreciated. It's gonna snow again soon. Thanks! - Dave
