just my luck! fuel tank issues.

I put my fuel tank back in today and it was alot harder installing than it was removing it. It seems that while they were preasure testing the tank it got warped, That could be a good thing I guess, Only problem is when I was installing it I couldn't hardly get the bolt holes to line up, Well I finally got it in and was putting the sending unit on and heard the float fall into the tank, Great! now I have to get that out, which took some doing without having to take the tank out again. Then when I was putting the float back on I put a hole in the d@** thing. So I called around and the prices of these things are outragiuos. The local dealership wanted 260.00 for it, I called Chevy Duty and 38.00 for the sending unit, gasket, and shipping. so now I'm waiting on that to get to me. Just another set back.
