Clutch problem need help!

I just swapped a clutch disc in a 67 2 ton.The disc was gone.no material left on it at all.So I just swaped the disc for my boss, used the old pressure plate ect,and now it won't release.
So figuring the plate went bad I took it back out and swapped the pressure plate, and still no joy.The thing will not release, what is going on here?

This truck has the 305 V6,and the pressure plate bolts up with 6 bolts, not evenly spaced around the edge, but the frame of hte plate looks like a triangle,if that makes any sense.

The plate is moving when hte pedal is depressed, but it will not release.

TIA
