Post Brakes failed

I was driving into town the other night and my brakes failed. Luckily I was only doing about 20mph, so I just geared down, pumped the brake & applied the parking brake. I slowly sort of skidded & rolled to a stop. The ride home was quite an adventure, I'll tell you that much.

Anyhow, apparently the left front brake hose was put on incorrectly when we had the brakes redone a few months ago. If the wheels are turned left, the hose rubbed against the inside of the rim, which caused it to twist & distort very badly. We took it in tonight to get it fixed. Hopefully we'll be back on the road in no time!
