assy. of frontend questions
guys,
i have a '72 chevy 1/2 ton 2wd p/u & have a few questions... 1) i am trying to put the front end of my truck back together & have a few questions. i am trying to put the inner fenders back on & am not sure how they go back??? i know they bolt from the bottom at the front but how & where do they bolt towards the cab (firewall). i am also wanting to know on the drivers side how does the inner fender go with the power steering hoses??? does the fender lay over the hoses or do the hoses lay on the inner fender?? 2) i have a leak at the front brake line where the hard line connects to the flex line on the drivers side, i have replaced the flex line once already & i think that i might have screwed the threads up on the hard line!! first do you guys know where or how to get just the single replacement of the hard line?? i really don't want to go through the hassle of bending my own (safety) & second do you guys know if there is supposed to be any kind of thread sealer that is to be applied when connecting the brake lines??? i don't think so, but i thought i might ask. 3) i am also trying to put the wiper assy back on (at the cowl_outside) & want to know if it is possible to get replacement screws for the wiper arms at the end where the spindle for the arm sticks through the cowl holes ( 2- screws for each side)??? thanks for the time for any help you might be able to provide... rodstored-72 |
