LT1/4L60E Swap
First thanks Hart Rod for all the links to previous threads. Looking to pick some brains here, let me know your thoughts.
Do I need to get my stock FI harness reworked? Where is the best place to mount the motor (what mounting holes to use, I-6 or V8)? AC delete pulley, do I need to hack the frame to get it to fit? Does the 1996 Caprice 9C1 police edition have the VATS and LIMP stuff? Where can I find a good fuel tank swap with an in tank fuel pump. Want to put a tank in place of the spare tire. Would buying a Hypertech programmer for the LT1 be beneficial? And last but not least, if this project is too much for me to wrap my head around does anybody want to buy this swap if I decide to give up? Thought I'd through that last one in there just in case... Josh
