Of all the rear tank conversions I've read about this one peaks my interest the most. Partly because it uses a factory designed tank and should be relatively cheap and it doesn't seem to hang down very far compared to the exhaust pipes. Once a bumper or pan is installed and the tank is painted black it will hardly be noticeable at all.
Oh yeah, the truck is looking REAL good too. I have some narrow center lines on my 69 right now. Yours looks a lot better with the 8".
