fitting body panels

What is the best way to fit a new floor pan to the cab of my truck so that I do not cut the existing one out wrong and leave a gap?? I just ordered a bunch of molded sheet metal to replace existing rotted metal i.e. rocker panels, floor pan, etc...

Is there a template I should fabricate to so I dont mess up on the cut?
