Wheel sizes? More help please
I plan on running American Torque Thrust II's on the '54(It has a Chevy 5 lug pattern now). However, I don't want to tub the rear or massage any other body parts. How big of a tire/wheel can I put under it front/rear(I'd like a the fattest I can fit with out rubbing anything). I was thinking about a 17-18" wheel. It has 205/75/R15" on it now with some 70's GM hub caps that I played with some(Doesn't look bad for rollers, but I need some J/K lol). I guess I need to learn about back spacing and the metric tire measurements. I will also have to see where the ride sits once the alignment/suspension is done. Anyone have any suggestions?
