The Ultimate GMC Dually

I am presently modifying a 86 GMC 3500 4x4 dually from a 350 gas carborated 4 speed standard to a 5.9 Cummins Diesel/ turbo 400 3 speed.
The donor engine came from a 92 stub-nosed school bus.
After much trial and error, I succeeded. I created one of three different adaptor plates to make the hook up. i was told it couldn't be done. The non-beleivers got to see it running like a dream. I should have taken bets. I'd have made a killing.
My second project is a 96 GMC 4x2 dually which had 6.2L Diesel 4 speed standard. I'm installing a DT 360 International 6 cylinder diesel/turbo 400. Engine and transmission are mated together now, and ready to lay in the frame. I'll keep you posted.
I'm curious whether anyone else has managed to figure this out.
Please let me know.
