Another new guy

Hi all, I just picked up another project. Waited a long time to get this one. It's a 68 c-10 short fleet. Wanted this truck for a long time, Great grandfather bought a 67 c-10 long fleet little window truck brand new, gave it to my parents when i was a kid, wanted one ever since. Bought a 72 c-10 suburban about ten years ago with big hopes, but the wife didnt like driving it(wanted a newer one), so i sold it. Now she found me this current project and is supporting it too.
Bought this one as a project truck, cab needs replaced(came with a 71 A/C cab), bed needs straightening but isnt rusty, front sheetmetal needs patch panels, Also came with all the parts to convert to 5 lug discs front and the rear axles, found almost all of the stainless body trim neatly tucked out of sight in the back of the truck.
Was originally a 327/3 speed truck, and comes with the th350 and crossmember, and driveline to a longbed(just needs shortened?) might need lengthened and carrier removed?
Anyways, very excited to finally have the truck that i have wanted for years, and am looking forward to building it the way i have always pictured it. Ya, i know exactly what i want in the end, Wheels and all. Now if i was just rich.
