anybody else ever had this happen??
I went out to leave this morning and saw oil all over the driveway (not normal for this truck thankyouverymuch ) so I popped the hood & saw the front lip of the engine cradle was full of oil. Looked down and saw the front seal had completely come out of the timing cover and was just sitting there between the balancer and timing cover. How the heck does that happen? That seal has been in there for about 3k miles and it was in there solid with rtv around the edges when I installed it. Never leaked a drop until this morning. I don't think my timing cover is "loose" around that seal, took awhile to press it in. Any tips on keeping the next seal from walking out?
