Iowa fabricator

Nice board, I've been looking around here now for a couple of months, good info and help. My name is Aaron and I live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I own my own business, Aaron's Fabrication & Metalworks, where I do everything from scratch built tanks and fenders for motorcycles, to artwork and furniture, to chassis and suspension work, roll cages, etc. etc. etc. I recently went searching for and found and bought my new shop truck, a 1967(birth year) Chevy fleetside shortbox, actually a '70 with a '67 front clip.(close enough) Although I've had to do some work to the truck, change tranny, replace cam and carb, switch from front manual drum to power disc brakes, replace torch heated springs to bags in rear and cut coils in front, misc. other stuff, I still love this truck and the more I do to it, the more it becomes my own. I look forward to becoming a part of this '67-'72 community. A little about my truck: stock 307ci w/350 cam, Edelbrock Performer intake, quadrajet carb, gear drive timing, headers w/Flowmaster 40's, turbo 400 tranny, 20" Boss wheels w/Goodyear 285/50/20 tires, '90 Chevy front spindles, rotors, calipers, '72 3/4T lower A-arm with 3/4T front springs cut. Air bags in the rear came off of a Kenworth semi tractor and damn near bolted right in. See ya around.

Aaron
