409biscayne - 72 Cheyenne Super Build
I've waited two years to get started on this project , so here goes :
1972 C10 Cheyenne Super SWB 402BB T400 is the plan , nothing too radical . I bought this truck here in Spokane mainly to part out , i had it parked for six months before i really even looked at it , it had the original paperwork including Protecto-plate and build sheet with it , it was a customer order truck sold originally thru Hall Chevrolet , Prosser , Wa . It has a pretty good list of options including a/c , tilt , tach , 3.73 posi , med. blue / white . It's quite rust free , except rockers and cab corners . Plans are to shorten the frame from lwb and i've already bought a short fleet box ( tks Frank ), and most of the parts to lower 3 / 5 inch , i've got a killer t400 w/3000 stall trans brake , manual valve body to go with either a 402 or possibly a 454 , i have both i just don't know which i'll use , yet . Here's a couple of pix , i don't have any with the fenders and box . More to follow ........................................ 409
