Tip i thought i would share for anyone doing work requiring oil gaskets.
Well i knda hate to give this one out but what the heck. An old timer once gave me a tip when i was little that he learned from his father. When installing new oil sealing gaskets soak them in Marvial mystery oil and then install them. I will tell yeah it works great. i have done it on a bunch of oil pan gaskets alot of small motor rebulds and some valve covers. keeps the seal wet in the beiging and makes it act like a spung so you don't get that period were the seals leak because not seated. give it a try works great! any one else heard of this??
