HELP!!! Problem with plug wires!

I was replacing the plug wires on my 307 when I came to the 2 in the front and found that they were between the motor mount and the motor. I tried pushing them out but they wouldn't go, and I didn't want to have to shove my new ones through like that. So whats the deal!!! I broke one of them trying to push it out so now that cylinder won't fire if I need to run it. Any suggestions other than having to loosen the motor mount to get it out?
